ENGLISH & CHINESE COURSE

INTENSIVE ENGLISH

This is for students who have a good knowledge of the English language. The courses focus on grammar, speaking, reading and helping students to speak with more confidence. These courses are for students whose English allows them to communicate with others quite well much of the time, but who wish to develop further their fluency and accuracy in their spoken language as well as broaden their vocabulary.

By the end of the module, you will be able to:

- talk easily with others in common social situations.

- speak clearly enough to be easily understood by others.

- exchange opinions with others and justify your point of view.

- read and understand the main points of authentic written material.

- summarise texts using English that is easily understood by others.

- understand and use with confidence the vocabulary of daily social life.

-INTENSIVE CHINESE

Our Chinese course is specially designed to be an intensive course for foreigners who have started to learn Chinese and who want to master the practical skills of Chinese within a comparatively short period of time. It consists of four levels: Elementary, Intermediate, Upper Intermediate and Advanced.

The course lays much emphasis on improving the ability of the learners to use Chinese for daily communication. And on the basis of that, the course will lay a solid foundation for further studies of the language. These aims are to be accomplished by means of pattern substitution, grammatical analysis and multiple-purpose exercises. In addition, our teachers have tried to consolidate various course materials to compile supplementary materials to assist the students to develop their abilities in different situations and on different topics.

In review of the characteristics of language learning of the students, we use not only easy-to-understand language, but also simple and concise grammar, which enable the students to use the grammatical rules to guide their own language practice and make the study relaxing and practical.
